Hi, I’m Miranda
Like many business owners, I spend a lot of time on Zoom getting to know people, and I truly enjoy it.
To make the most of our time together, here’s a few quick things to know about me….
#1 - My “WHY” is to build relationships based on trust.
That’s what led to me to start this business — getting so mad at events when speakers betrayed the trust of the audience by not delivering the caliber of learning they deserved. (Here’s more about that.)
👏 What gets me excited:
Learning about your business and goals
Making connections between good people to help them do good work
Discovering new opportunities for speakers that I know will be the perfect fit for an event and deliver great value to the audience
#2 - I believe in long-term relationships
I never stop looking for ways to help the speakers and event organizers in our network, whether they’re current clients or not. When you’re in the family, you’re in the family for life. Paying it forward always works out.
#3 - I’ve had a really varied career path, and everything has led me to this role
Except, perhaps, my knowledge of chicken first-aid and goat maintenance.
From the White House to the Entrepreneurs' Organization, I consider myself fortunate to have had a very non-linear journey.
Other topics I’ll happily talk about (even when I probably should be talking about business):
Hiking, travel, dogs, summer camp, my pandemic experience on a farm, and community building. And of course, all things related to events and public speaking!
I can’t wait to meet you!
🥴 What repels me:
Cold outreach that pretends to know me, offers of commission or referral fees
The idea of taking commission for introductions
Pushing forward a speaker that I don’t feel is the right fit

Lives in: Arlington, VA
Originally from: Hendersonville, NC, in the mountains
Family: My husband is a journalist, and we have two boys, Finn (16) and Ewan (11)
First “real” job: The White House, where I was an intern, and then offered a full-time job in the Travel Office. I had the privilege of traveling the world with President Clinton from 1998-2000, and then with President George W. Bush.
Biggest goals in 2025: Publish a book and run a marathon. I’m not sure which of those will be harder!
Event experience: Started with helping organize White House events, then at Georgetown University, and during my 10 years at the Entrepreneurs’ Organization. I held several roles that brought me to many events, including running the Global Student Entrepreneur Awards (GSEA), launching chapters, and organizing strategic gatherings.
Favorite travel spots: Sydney, London, San Diego, Scotland, Thailand. Also pretty much anywhere WARM.
Fun fact: Every summer I spend two weeks as the Camp Mom at my old summer camp in NC, playing with kids, dancing in costumes, and getting in shaving cream fights.
